Membership Policy

1. Purpose

UMCA Foundation is a Section 8 Company established with the objective of promoting education, healthcare, skill development, women empowerment, social welfare, environmental protection, and other charitable activities for public benefit. The purpose of membership is to encourage individuals to participate in and support the Foundation's social initiatives.

2. Eligibility for Membership

A person may apply for membership if they:

  • Are eligible under the applicable laws of India.
  • Agree with the objectives, vision, and mission of the Foundation.
  • Agree to comply with the Foundation's rules, policies, and Code of Conduct.
  • Complete the prescribed membership application process.
  • Provide the required identity and supporting documents, wherever applicable.

3. Lifetime Membership

  • Lifetime Membership Fee: ₹2,100 (or such amount as determined by the Foundation from time to time).
  • The membership fee is collected solely for granting membership and supporting the charitable objectives and administrative activities of the Foundation.
  • The membership fee is not an investment, deposit, share capital, security, savings scheme, or profit-generating scheme.
  • Membership does not create any ownership, financial interest, or entitlement to monetary returns.

4. Membership Benefits

Subject to the Foundation's policies, availability of resources, and applicable guidelines, Lifetime Members may be eligible for the following benefits:

  • Lifetime Membership Certificate.
  • Membership Identity Card.
  • Access to Training and Skill Development Programs.
  • Career Guidance and Employment Awareness Programs.
  • Participation in Legal Awareness Camps.
  • Participation in Health Awareness and Health Check-up Camps (where available).
  • Access to educational resources and learning materials.
  • Foundation newsletters, reports, and publications.
  • Participation in workshops, seminars, conferences, and social events.
  • Opportunities to serve as a volunteer in charitable activities.
  • Eligibility to apply for scholarship or assistance programs, subject to their respective terms and eligibility criteria.
  • Other lawful social welfare benefits and services offered by the Foundation from time to time.

5. Responsibilities of Members

Every member shall:

  • Maintain the dignity and reputation of the Foundation.
  • Comply with all policies, rules, and decisions of the Foundation.
  • Refrain from making false, misleading, or unlawful representations about the Foundation.
  • Not misuse the Foundation's name, logo, or identity without authorization.
  • Observe all applicable legal, ethical, and professional standards.

6. Suspension or Termination of Membership

The Foundation reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership in the following circumstances:

  • Violation of the Foundation's rules or policies.
  • Submission of false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • Conduct that damages the reputation or interests of the Foundation.
  • Involvement in any unlawful or unethical activity.
  • Any other reason considered appropriate by the Foundation in accordance with its governing documents and applicable law.

7. Membership Fee

The membership fee is generally non-refundable, except where the Foundation's written Refund Policy or applicable law specifically provides otherwise.

8. Amendments

Services Through Other Websites / Portals

UMCA Foundation may, from time to time, provide links to other websites, portals, or digital platforms that are owned, managed, or operated by UMCA Foundation or under its authorized control and management.

If a member accesses or uses any service through such links, the applicable benefits shall be provided in accordance with the terms and conditions governing that particular service.

In particular, active Jivandaan members may be entitled to receive special member benefits or discounts ranging from 20% to 50% on selected services and offers. Such benefits shall be subject to the applicable service, scheme, promotional offer, and the rules in force from time to time.

For the websites or platforms linked and operated under the ownership, control, or authorized management of UMCA Foundation, the Foundation shall be responsible for their operation, service quality, and member support.

UMCA Foundation reserves the right to modify, revise, suspend, or discontinue any service, benefit, discount, offer, or linked platform at any time, in accordance with its policies. Any such changes will be communicated to members through appropriate official channels.

UMCA Foundation reserves the right to amend, modify, or update this Membership Policy at any time. Any amendments shall become effective from the date of their approval or publication by the Foundation.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

We will let You know via email and/or a prominent notice on Our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
